Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Plant Laborer to join our team at CRH - Texas Materials - East Texas Area. As an Asphalt Plant Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting the plant operator, removing dust from the dust silo, cleaning materials under conveyors and plant areas, operating a Bobcat to scoop up leftover material around the plant, and ensuring a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the plant operator with various tasks as needed
Remove dust from the dust silo to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Clean materials under conveyors and plant areas to prevent damage and ensure efficiency
Operate a Bobcat to scoop up leftover material around the plant
Be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the asphalt plant
Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies

Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
