Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Auxiliary Preschool Teacher to become a part of our dedicated team. In this role, you will guide a group of young learners throughout the academic year, evaluating their educational levels and tailoring your teaching strategies to cater to both group and individual requirements.

Your enthusiasm for education and commitment to fostering student growth is essential. With strong creativity and problem-solving abilities, you excel at building connections with students and fostering an interactive classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a well-rounded curriculum
  • Instruct foundational reading and mathematics
  • Support children in enhancing their social and emotional competencies
  • Utilize diverse teaching methodologies and learning strategies
  • Engage with parents and collaborate with other educational staff
  • Evaluate students' abilities and progress to ensure they are achieving developmental goals
Required Qualifications
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a minimum of 9 credit hours in approved child development coursework.
  • In-depth knowledge of child development theories and effective educational practices
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards in the classroom and a commitment to adhering to these protocols
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Note: Additional salary incentives may be available for lead educators holding a master's degree, as well as for auxiliary teachers with an AA/AT degree that includes 18 hours of specialized Child Development/Early Childhood credits.
