What does it take to keep packages moving across the country and beyond?
Casual Tractor Trailer Drivers work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. They must have a valid CDL license in their home state and may need a doubles/triples endorsement depending on the location. They must also pass a DOT physical and have a strong sense of reliability, responsibility, and a love of truck driving. Additionally, they must have the legal right to work in the U.S. and comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.

Casual Tractor Trailer Drivers can expect competitive weekly pay, growth opportunities, reliable and well-maintained trucks, dependable schedules, and loading/unloading assistance. This is a seasonal role, which is a great place to start at UPS and may even lead to a permanent role with additional benefits. Permanent, full-time small package delivery drivers receive an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year, including $0 healthcare premiums, up to seven weeks of paid vacation, and paid time off for holidays, sick leave, and option days.
