We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at Franjo Construction Corporation. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for safely fabricating and installing structural and miscellaneous steel work in accordance with design documents.

• Operate Steel Working Equipment: Safely operate all types of steel working equipment and hand tools to ensure efficient and safe construction processes.
• Structural Steel Assemblies: Knowledge of structural steel assemblies and details typically used in commercial building construction to ensure accurate and precise fabrication.
• Welding Certifications: Possess welding certificates in MIG, Fluxcore, and Stick Welding or have proven, proficient relevant experience in lieu of certificates.
• Design Document Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret all drawings and associated design documents to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
• Fabrication and Erection: Perform layout, cutting, and welding as specified by shop drawings for both structural and miscellaneous steel operations.
• Fabrication Shop Safety: Knowledge of fabrication shop safety and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate all equipment to perform daily erection activities, including man-lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, stud machines, and scaffolding systems.
• Project Logistics: Provide input on jobsite logistics, organization, layout, equipment, and manpower utilization to ensure efficient project execution.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean project site/fabrication shop and ensure all tools and equipment are in order.
• Foundations and Building Structures: Knowledge of foundations, building structures, and construction sequencing to ensure accurate and precise fabrication and installation.
• Metal Fabrication: Mold, shape, or form all metals to meet project requirements.
• Project Safety and Security: Adhere to comprehensive project safety and security programs as defined in the company safety program in accordance with all applicable safety codes and regulations.
