Job Title: Occupational Therapist

At The Orchards, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their maximum potential and improve their quality of life.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice and company procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify areas of need and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk throughout the facility and department.
  • Ability to tolerate constant/ repetitive standing, traverse stairs, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, and reach when performing daily work.
