The ideal candidate will have completed a PGY1 or PGY2 residency and will be responsible for providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive medication management, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for critically ill patients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians and nurses, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Medication Review: Perform in-depth reviews of medication regimens, identify potential drug interactions, and provide recommendations for therapy adjustments.
  • Education: Educate healthcare providers and patients on medication use, including new therapies and best practices in critical care pharmacotherapy.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement efforts, contributing to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Research & Development: Engage in clinical research initiatives to advance critical care pharmacy practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Completion of a PGY1 or PGY2 pharmacy residency.
  • Licensure: Valid pharmacist license in the state of employment.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a critical care setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
