Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Baptist Health Louisville. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
  • EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
  • Tech Cert Verification (National)
  • State License 1 Verification
  • NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
Job Responsibilities

The ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our intensive care unit. This includes:

  • Assessing and managing critically ill patients
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Providing education and support to patients and families
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience
  • Neuro ICU experience preferred
  • EKG exam required: must pass an advanced dysrhythmia test for competency assessment
Additional Details

If driving is a major function of the candidate's job responsibilities, they must provide a current Driver's License.
