DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide high-quality care to patients with end-stage renal disease. As a PCT, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to deliver safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct Patient Care: Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
- Technician Duties: Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
- Building Long-Term Relationships: Develop strong relationships with patients and their families, providing education on kidney dialysis-related topics and addressing their concerns.
- Desire to Enter the Healthcare Field: A passion for caring for others and a willingness to learn and grow in the healthcare industry.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum educational requirement for this role.
