About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the efficiency and success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures.
  • Ensure sterilization at every point of the process.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Completed a military surgical technology program or equivalent.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
  • Ability to maintain at least 15 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME) per year.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
