Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Baker to join our team at Global Partners LP. As a Baker, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the daily production of donuts, muffins, pastry, and bagels for sale on site and for other local Honey Dew shops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Donut Production: Assist in the daily production of donuts, muffins, pastry, and bagels, adhering to Company policies and procedures.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all products meet Honey Dew's quality standards and follow food safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory records and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Delivery and Logistics: Neatly pack delivery totes and ensure that delivery totals are accurate to the invoices.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the preparation process.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist in implementing all Global and Honey Dew promotional initiatives and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently bend, reach, and lift up to 15 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent, and a valid ServSafe certificate or willingness to obtain one within 120 days.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to work unsupervised, flexibility to work weekend, holiday, and/or evening shifts, and reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.
  • Physical and Mental Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, move quickly around the store, and work with hands with repetitive tasks.
