The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a highly skilled Epileptologist to join our esteemed Department of Neurology at Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients with diverse backgrounds and socioeconomic status.
About the Epilepsy ProgramThe Mount Sinai Epilepsy Program is a renowned center of excellence, offering comprehensive care to thousands of individuals with epilepsy. Our program encompasses multiple inpatient and outpatient centers throughout the New York City area, including three centers with Level 4 accreditation by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC). We perform over 100 epilepsy surgeries per year, including stereotactic EEGs, laser ablations, and the implantation of neuromodulatory devices.
Responsibilities- Provide expert care to patients with seizures and epilepsy
- Participate in clinical activities within the Mount Sinai Health System epilepsy division
- Teach residents and fellows
- Collaborate with world-renowned faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York Medical License
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
- Completed ACGME-fellowship training in Epilepsy or Neurophysiology, EEG track
