Job Title: Tower Technician

Visionary Communications LLC is seeking a skilled Tower Technician to join our team. As a Tower Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability of towers to provide the best network services for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain equipment on towers
  • Assemble electronic equipment in racks/cabinets, plumbing all RF, wiring
  • Telecom Installation of RF/ground/power/telecommunications cabling
  • Complete client and company checklists, photos, and test results
  • Maintain network documentation with a high level of accuracy
  • Work on 24-hour on-call duty to resolve any tower-related or customer issues

Requirements:

  • Telecom experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and proprietary computer applications
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Valid driver's license and insurable to drive a company vehicle
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard hours and willingness to travel 75% of the time

Physical Requirements:

  • Work at tower heights for duration of day
  • Lift and carry up to 75 pounds
  • Utilize fine motor coordination, clear speech, and good visual acuity
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
  • Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts
  • Exposure to high, precarious places
  • Exposure to outside weather conditions
