We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at UCF Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients under the direction of a Physician.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients during routine office visits and physical exams
- Diagnose common illnesses and recommend care procedures, treatments, medications, and drug therapy as appropriate
- Conduct physical examinations and assess and record the general health of patients
- Prescribe routine drug therapy in accordance with established protocol
- Establish and maintain effective professional relations with patients, families, and external caregivers
- Maintain and update patient charts and records
- Formulate and update patient care plans
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Five years to eight years of similar or related experience
- Current State License
- Annual CPR, OSHA, HIPPA training/certifications
