Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Consultant/Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, business consulting, and project management. Key Responsibilities- Work on advanced data science applications to solve complex business problems
- Provide ad-hoc data requests, including summarization and analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to author technical data requirements for a technical audience and develop templates
- Break down projects into specific tasks involving business analysis, data science, and engineering
- Work with the data engineering team to create processes for data ingestion, validation, and balancing checks
- Architect data analytics frameworks and solutions to solve data-driven business problems
- Develop data models using Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Operational Research techniques
- Extract, transform, and organize data into datasets using SQL
- Validate model solutions by developing testing frameworks using Hadoop, Python, etc.
- Communicate results to senior management and business teams, and develop plans to operationalize analytic solutions
- 5-6 years of professional work experience
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is a plus
- Experience in Asset/Wealth Management is preferred
- Experience in data profiling, data analysis, data quality checks, and data governance practices
- Experience of working with offshore teams
- Strong project management and team management skills, with ability to work with global teams
- Strong SQL skills and excellent knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau
- Python and SQL programming skills
- Knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms
- Exposure to cloud platforms and big data systems such as AWS, Hadoop HDFS, Hive is a plus
- Familiarity with principles and tools for data governance and stewardship
