Dietary Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality food service is provided to our residents and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals, following established policies and procedures.
- Prepare and deliver food and trays, wash dishes, and clean and sanitize the kitchen according to health standards.
- Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive, pleasant, and tactful interaction with residents, staff, and facility guests.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily, and utilize leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; specialized training in food service desirable.
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required based on State/County law.
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
