Job Summary

We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team and help ensure we provide exceptional experiences for our clients and their pets. As a Veterinary Technician, you will be part of a peer network of over 5000 individuals, with access to CE allowance and Learning & Development programs to help you meet your career goals.

Responsibilities
  • Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms
  • Laboratory procedures, including hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
  • Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols for fellow staff members
  • Nursing skills, including restraining patients, administering medications, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring
  • Proficient in dental prophylaxis
  • Assist with inventory and DEA compliance
  • Equipment maintenance
Requirements
  • Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state
  • Associates degree in Veterinary Technology
