Experienced Trim Carpenter

Job SummaryPalisade Construction is seeking a skilled Trim Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our interior finish crew, you will be responsible for performing high-quality trim and finish work on new manufactured and modular homes across Tennessee and Alabama.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, hang, mud, and repair drywall
• Sand and paint drywall
• Repair and finish textured ceilings
• Install baseboards, casings, and crown molding trim
• Caulk and paint trim
• Install interior door frames, jambs, and doors
• Adjust cabinets
• Seam and stretch carpet
• Cut and correctly install all types of flooring
• Clean homes after trim-out has been completed

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel within a 100-mile radius of the job's location on a daily basis
• Be committed to doing excellent work
• Be early each morning
• Be open-minded and eager to learn new skills
• Be dependable
• Be committed to being a good teammate
• Be a great communicator
• Carpentry skills or willingness to learn
• Ability to work in all forms of weather (extreme heat/cold, rain/snow)
• Endurance to perform difficult tasks for long periods of time
• Ability to safely climb ladders
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Open availability/weekend availability
