Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement safe work practices for all paint line processes, including pre-treatment washers, dry off ovens, paint booth equipment, paint curing ovens, and all conveyance.
  • Develop and execute effective Preventive Maintenance activities to optimize Paint Line Equipment availability, reducing mean time between failures.
  • Work closely with the Engineering function to mitigate known hazards and reduce the company's and employees' exposure to risk liabilities.
  • Guide and develop Paint Department personnel in the creation of and compliance with best practices (Standard Work).
  • Optimize paint application at or below defined utilization standards and ensure effective transfer efficiencies.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in powder coat or paint line operations required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Supervisor role preferred.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees throughout the organization.
  • Efficient and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, structured, and proactive.
  • Computer and technology skills and aptitude.
