Pentec Health is seeking a skilled Home Health Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. As a Home Health Infusion Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule to meet the needs of patients, while traveling within the area (up to 200 miles). This is a full-time, permanent position.

Job Summary

As a Home Health Infusion Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care to individuals with implanted intrathecal drug delivery devices. Your duties will include conducting patient assessments, providing nursing interventions, refilling pumps, adjusting doses, and educating patients on healthy lifestyle choices.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individualized care needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs
  • Provide nursing interventions, including pump refills, dose adjustments, and patient education
  • Collaborate with the prescribing physician, patient, and caregivers as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • Participate in shared governance and integrate evidence-based research into practice
Requirements
  • 3 years of RN experience and 24/7 accountability
  • Demonstrate the skill and ability required for completion of Intrathecal Nurse Fellowship Orientation program
  • Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently and be a resourceful, proactive problem solver
  • Exhibits accurate critical thinking and ability to quickly assess and react to changes in patient conditions
  • Ability to work in a remote home office and maintain productive, therapeutic boundaries
  • Demonstrates teamwork through the ability to work well and communicate effectively with members of the healthcare team
  • CPR certification or ability to become certified
Preferred Qualifications
  • ICU/ER/OR and/or home care experience
  • Solid understanding of chronic pain/rehab principles
  • BSN
Education, Certifications, and Trainings
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and ability to become licensed in another state if needed
Equipment and Physical Requirements
  • Intermediate computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Adobe PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Knowledge of smart phones

The estimated full-time base annual salary is $80,000, with actual salary based on qualifications, skills, and geographic location.
