We are in search of a dedicated and high-performing Quality Assurance Engineer to collaborate with stakeholders and advance the Onyx Quality agenda efficiently.
This pivotal role within the Onyx Quality team will work closely with the Director of Quality and the Senior Quality Manager to foster a robust quality culture within Onyx.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Framework Compliance:
Collaborate with Onyx team members to document Onyx-specific processes that align with the ITMS and Onyx Quality Framework requirements.
Oversee deliverable quality, ensuring adherence to quality standards for products, projects, programs, or operations within your scope, employing a risk-based approach.
Provide quality support and oversight throughout application development and maintenance, while monitoring and analyzing various quality issues, incidents, and risks.
Assist with Internal/External audits, including Audit Readiness activities, and support the creation, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) operational processes that are suitable for Onyx and aligned with GSK's broader quality ecosystem.
Facilitate the effective integration of QMS processes into Onyx's engineering practices, supporting users in implementing the Onyx Quality framework.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders both within and outside of Onyx to ensure effective execution of Onyx processes and activities, fostering the right quality culture.
Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining logs, coordinating training, authoring quality documents, and keeping quality tasks updated.
Risk Management: Assist in the administration of risk management activities within Onyx. Facilitate risk identification and discussions within the business unit, addressing both operational and product/project risks as necessary. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures as required within Onyx.
Audit and Training Support: Contribute to ensuring Onyx is prepared for both external and internal audits as needed.
Maintain and oversee a continuous training and education program to ensure ongoing awareness of new and updated policies and standards within Onyx.

We seek professionals with the following essential skills: A Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Biological Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related fields.
A minimum of 3 years of experience working with quality systems and/or in quality assurance, along with proficiency in MS tools and other electronic systems.

The following characteristics would be advantageous: Strong written and verbal communication skills, technical writing proficiency, and the ability to convey complex information succinctly.
Demonstrated capability to review and assess technical information, ensuring the delivery of user-focused, fit-for-purpose content. A team player with a proven ability to motivate and collaborate with a team of experts to consistently achieve high standards.
Familiarity with various electronic systems and tools such as Jira and Confluence is highly desirable.
