**Postdoctoral Scholar Series - Della Martin Fellowship**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Scholar to join our team at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric and neuroscience research, with expertise in induced pluripotent stem cells differentiation to neurons for phenotyping.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct in vitro laboratory methods and bioinformatics analyses to investigate psychiatric and neurological disorders.
• Collaborate with our team to design and implement novel neuroscience techniques involving pluripotent stem cells differentiation to neurons for phenotyping.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of GWAS analyses, single cell or single nuclei RNA sequencing, and laboratory and analytic methods.
Requirements
• M.D. degree and/or Ph.D. degree with experience in induced pluripotent stem cells differentiation to neurons for phenotyping.
• Strong background in psychiatric and neuroscience research, with expertise in biomarker research using transcriptomic, genomic, and epigenomic approaches.
• Familiarity with single cell or single nuclei RNA sequencing, including laboratory and analytic methods.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
