About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Memorial Health - Family Medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for exams, and instructing patients on collection of necessary samples/tests.
  • Notify patients of test results and follow-up appointments, and instruct patients and families about medications and treatment instructions.
  • Manage patient records, including chart entries and posting lab/tests and examination results.
  • Schedule tests and treatments, including arranging referrals to specialists and obtaining pre-authorizations when directed by the provider.
Requirements
  • A degree from an accredited school of practical nursing is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
  • Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse following state regulations.
