Position Overview:

The AM Beverage Specialist is responsible for the setup, mixing of drinks, service, and maintenance of the bar area, ensuring exceptional service, guest satisfaction, and adherence to company standards while maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages and coffee drinks to guests and cocktail servers, adhering to established guidelines, procedures, and safety protocols as dictated by company standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Process guest checks, handle cash transactions, and manage credit and room charges in accordance with company policies.
  • Complete liquor requisitions and inventory lists.
  • Understand and comply with state liquor regulations.
  • Maintain established inventory levels.
  • Execute all sidework duties as per assigned schedules.
Qualifications:

Education/Training:

Completion of bartending training and certification, TIPS Certified.

Experience:

A minimum of 6 months of bartending experience.

Knowledge/Skills:

Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  • Ability to lift trays, dish racks, and glass racks.
  • Ability to bend and kneel to access lower cabinets and lift trays.
  • Mobility to navigate narrow spaces and maneuver between seated guests.
  • Continuous standing is required throughout the shift.
  • Ability to climb approximately 12 steps as needed.
  • No driving is required.
  • Must be able to manage records and special requests.
  • Ability to multitask and follow both verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Must be organized and attentive to detail in busy environments.
  • Ability to handle various customer service challenges with tact and understanding.
  • Ability to accurately count cash and operate a cash register.
Work Environment:

Physically demanding, involving prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and carrying throughout the entire shift.
