Job Overview:
We are in search of a committed Physician Assistant with a specialization in pediatric care to become a vital part of our healthcare team.

The Physician Assistant will collaborate closely with pediatricians to provide exceptional care to children and adolescents in our clinic, which has been a cornerstone of the community for over 30 years.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric patient evaluation, child development, clinic operations, and urgent care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough pediatric evaluations and physical examinations under the guidance of pediatricians.
  • Support clinic operations, including patient intake, comprehensive medical histories, and child-specific treatment protocols.
  • Deliver urgent care services for pediatric patients needing immediate medical attention.
  • Comply with pediatric healthcare standards and protocols during all patient interactions.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding child health, disease prevention, developmental milestones, and treatment options.
  • Work collaboratively with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for children.
  • Develop and implement pediatric treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions tailored to children's needs.
  • Accurately document pediatric patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
  • Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Exceptional communication abilities to effectively work with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
  • Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic medical environment.
