We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at RehabCare. As a Lead RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and leading our interdisciplinary team in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
- Initiate appropriate nursing interventions and provide care tailored to the patient's condition and age
- Document medical necessity in the medical record in a timely and accurate manner
- Develop and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for each patient
- Conduct Quality Improvement assessments and implement changes as needed
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred
- CRRN certification preferred
- Minimum six months' experience in a Medical/Surgical setting, preferably in an acute care environment
- Excellent oral and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills
