Job Overview

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a dedicated MR Technologist to enhance our imaging services. We are committed to transforming the field of radiology, ensuring it plays a pivotal role in accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. As an MRI Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to operate a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner, generating high-quality images for diagnostic evaluations.

With a focus on patient care, you will provide essential leadership and technical support to MRI operations, ensuring adherence to professional standards while delivering exceptional customer service. Patients rely on our expertise for clarity and reassurance during their imaging procedures. You will play a crucial role in guiding them through the process, addressing their inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

(80%) Patient Imaging Duties:

  • Conducts both routine and advanced MRI examinations on specified body areas to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions with minimal supervision.
  • Evaluates patients prior to procedures to identify any necessary precautions or contraindications.
  • Prepares individuals for MRI scans by explaining the process and positioning them appropriately for optimal imaging.
  • Adjusts scanning parameters as required to ensure quality results.
  • Fosters positive relationships with radiologists, referring physicians, and colleagues.
  • Communicates effectively with medical staff, patients, and their families as needed.
  • Adheres strictly to physician directives and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all parties involved.
  • Maintains precise patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Keeps the work environment organized and clean, promoting safety for patients and staff.
  • Ensures compliance with ACR toolkit and accreditation standards.

(15%) Departmental Support:

  • Ensures all equipment is well-maintained and properly sanitized after each use.
  • Assists in updating the MRI protocol manual and implementing software enhancements.
  • Monitors inventory levels of medical supplies.
  • Contributes to the training of new staff members, offering guidance and technical support.

(5%) Additional Responsibilities:

  • Performs other related tasks as assigned.
