Job Overview

This role involves crafting and serving a variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to guests while ensuring the bar area is well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and serve drinks following established recipes and accurately measure ingredients.
  2. Take food orders and utilize the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing orders and payments.
  3. Manage bar inventory and keep the workspace clean and organized, including washing glassware as necessary.
  4. Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  5. Comply with all state and local regulations, including verifying the legal drinking age of customers.
  6. Monitor customer alcohol consumption to ensure responsible drinking practices.
  7. Encourage additional sales through effective upselling techniques.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED is required, with a preference for candidates who have at least one year of experience in a full-service bar environment.

Certifications:

Training in ServSafe and TIPs certification will be provided by the company, which is essential for performing job duties.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs and maintain a high level of guest service.
