Job Summary

Veolia is seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of our wastewater treatment plant equipment, pump stations, and lift stations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate water and wastewater treatment plant equipment on a shift basis, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of assigned equipment, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Collect and record data from meters and gauges, preparing reports and records as required.
  • Sample liquid streams, preparing reports and records pertaining to equipment operation and related matters.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
Work Environment

As a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, you will be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions, including:

  • Moving mechanical parts
  • Fumes and unpleasant odors
  • Airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
  • Wet and/or humid conditions
  • Outside weather conditions
