**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Lodging Attendant at the Georgia Department of Community Health. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Register guests by phone or in person, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience

• Manage guest service requests, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally

• Issue extra linens and amenities as needed, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

• Maintain the front desk area and lobby, ensuring a clean and organized environment

• Process cash or credit card payments, handling transactions with accuracy and efficiency

• Update the reservation system, including cancellations and early departures, to ensure seamless operations

• Clean and maintain rooms, including sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, and dusting and polishing furniture

• Operate commercial washers and dryers, collecting and distributing linens, and washing, drying, folding, and storing linens, towels, and other amenities

• Maintain laundry rooms and storage areas, ensuring a clean and organized environment

• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a positive and supportive work environment

**Requirements:**

• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service, housekeeping, or a related field preferred

• Ability to work a variable schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, as needed

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks as required

• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
