Position Summary: The Senior Manufacturing Chemist role is integral to the Small Molecule Chemistry Group. This position emphasizes collaboration and innovation, fostering a culture where diverse perspectives are valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare organic compounds in accordance with established protocols and safety regulations utilizing advanced chemical reaction apparatus.
  • Analyze and report data derived from various analytical methodologies, employing individual judgment to inform process decisions (including HPLC, NMR, TLC, UV-Vis).
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, while identifying potential enhancements to production processes.
  • Provide training to staff on current Small Molecule Chemistry courses.
  • Implement Danaher Business System tools such as Daily Management, 5S, and PSP to continuously seek and leverage improvement opportunities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
  • A minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience with a focus on chemical handling.
  • Proficient in utilizing ERP systems for work order creation and material management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree specifically in Chemistry.
  • Experience in a laboratory environment with a focus on chemical handling for at least 1 year.
  • Familiarity with Small Molecule Chemistry practices for over a year.
