Job Overview

Veterans Inc., a leading provider of supportive services to veterans and their families, seeks an Employment and Training Case Manager to join our team in Fargo, ND.

This role is part of our efforts to reintegrate homeless and at-risk veterans into meaningful employment, addressing the complex barriers they face. As an Employment and Training Case Manager, you will be responsible for conducting client assessments, developing individual training plans, and providing career/employment training/counseling/advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily job coaching, resume building, job searches, and mock interviews to support veterans' reintegration into the workforce.
  • Perform initial intake and assessments of all veterans for acceptance into Veterans Inc. programs, assisting them in developing tailored training plans that meet their specific needs and skills.
  • Track and report case management progress through detailed case notes and conferences with the manager, ensuring accurate record-keeping/documentation for monthly reporting into the agency database.
  • Assist veterans in accessing public sources or VA services they may be eligible for.
  • Maintain strong relationships with employers, careers centers, veterans services agencies, and other stakeholders to provide a seamless transition for veterans reintegrating into the workforce.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field; military experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum two years of experience in Employment Training, Vocational Rehabilitation, Recruitment, Counseling, Outreach, or Services to the Homeless, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with veteran populations are preferred.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
