Rheumatologist Physician

We are seeking a skilled Rheumatologist to join our multi-office dermatology practice.

• Treating patients with rheumatic conditions such as arthritis, back pain, and osteoporosis.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of symptoms and their effects on the immune system.
• Designing personalized treatment plans for each patient.
• Assessing joint-related conditions and developing effective treatment strategies.
• Evaluating laboratory results and other advanced tests to inform treatment decisions.
• Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests to diagnose and monitor conditions.
• Performing physical examinations and imaging scans to diagnose and monitor conditions.
• Prescribing medications and physical therapy to manage symptoms and improve patient outcomes.
• Providing counseling and education to patients to empower them to manage their conditions effectively.
• Collaborating with primary care physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Attending weekly patient care conferences and participating in meetings and conferences to stay up-to-date on best practices.
• Applying medical knowledge to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
• Training, supervising, and evaluating staff members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintaining and updating medical records to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Obtaining medical authorizations and referrals for procedures, tests, and informal conferences as needed.
• Overseeing facility compliance with government health and safety regulations.
• Providing continuous learning opportunities for students, residents, fellows, and other providers.
• Attending professional meetings and engaging in continuous medical education to stay current with evidence-based medicine standards.
• Meeting regularly with staff to discuss workflow, operational problems, and patient care issues.
• Managing hospital regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Developing and maintaining professional relationships in the community to promote collaboration and improve patient outcomes.
• Participating in community outreach and education initiatives to promote health and wellness.
• Establishing and utilizing a patient caseload within established guidelines, including performing physical examinations, patient history, and diagnostic and treatment procedures.
• Practicing medicine and surgery within the scope of physician licensure.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with patients, fellow physicians, and staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Establishing and maintaining confidentiality with patients, fellow physicians, and staff.
• Participating in continuing medical education to remain current with evidence-based medicine standards.
• Continuing self-assessment and improvement to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Meeting professional requirements relating to continuing education, performance appraisal, and regulatory compliance.
• Understanding the scope of professional licensure and meeting professional and contractual obligations.
• Meeting all quality, safety, and other standards to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Meeting standards relating to performance appraisal, professional development, and regulatory compliance.
