Exciting Opportunity for a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Educator

Are you passionate about supporting students with hearing impairments in achieving their academic goals? Soliant is collaborating with a local educational institution seeking a committed Deaf and Hard of Hearing Educator.

Position Overview:
Title: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Educator
Location: Santa Ana, CA Area
Salary: $41-$54 per hour (Based on Experience)
Work Schedule: Part-time
Contract Length: Extended School Year with Potential for Renewal

Role Responsibilities: In this position, you will play a vital role in the educational journey of students with hearing challenges. Collaborating with a team of professionals, you will develop and implement tailored educational plans (IEPs), provide specialized instruction, and facilitate access to learning resources and technology.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education or a related discipline
  • Valid California Teaching Credential with Deaf and Hard of Hearing Authorization
  • Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) is advantageous
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
