Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented GME Administrator to join our team at UF Health. The successful candidate will provide administrative support and oversight to our Graduate Medical Education core program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Accreditation: Collaborate with Program Directors and the University's Office of Educational Affairs to ensure full compliance with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Institutional Requirements and Program Requirements for all programs.
  • Policy Implementation: Assist with the implementation of policies generated from the Graduate Medical Education committee and its subcommittee, and monitor GMEC projects.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Oversee essential external regulatory agency reports, including AMA FREIDA, ACGME Web ads, GME Trace, and ABIM.
  • Program Coordination: Supervise all aspects of the educational programs, including didactic conferences, evaluations, duty hours, and appropriate policies and procedures relevant to the ACGME and University requirements.
  • Resident Support: Oversee the coordination and documentation of all meetings concerning the Residency Program, and monitor and report all resident training activity for the University of Florida Health Science Center Jacksonville Office of Educational Affairs.
  • Evaluation and Personnel Management: Oversee adherence to the ACGME policies for providing residents with formative evaluations and regular feedback, and maintain resident records and ensure the programs' adherence to the ACGME requirements for resident evaluations.
  • Database Management: Ensure data is maintained on all ECFMG, VISA, and RA status information, and database reports as required (AAMC, COTH, ACGME, ABIM, and other regulatory agency reports).
  • Fellowship Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of the data collection on fellows' performance for all programs and report to each program director.
Requirements
  • 2 years GME experience required or 4 years administrative functions, responsibilities, and processes required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Art/Science preferred.
