As a Certified Medication Aide, you will administer oral and topical medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest level of care and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Record the administration of medications and/or treatments accurately.
  • Observe for and report any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse.
  • Administer PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
  • State certification as a nurse aide is required.
  • State approved medication administration certification.
  • Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.
  • Highly developed observation skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
