Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Join Walmart Global Tech as a Senior Software Engineer and be part of a team that builds industry-defining reusable customer and partner-facing services and products. As a key member of our team, you will design, build, and maintain high-performant APIs and software services for our 1P and 3P customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, data-driven, and message-oriented architecture.
  • Develop robust, maintainable, and reusable code for managing functionality, configuration, deployment, monitoring, performance, scalability, availability, security, and alerting.
  • Plan and implement steps to enhance application functionality, resiliency, usability, and security.
  • Assist in analyzing existing solutions to address business and technical requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test cases and deployment procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong development experience in an OO language (Java, Python, C++, C#, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud application development, including scalable, data-driven, and message-oriented architecture.
  • Experience designing scalable microservices and loosely coupled services using asynchronous message processing.
  • Experience working on cloud-scale massive relational and No-SQL databases.
  • Experience with design patterns, code repositories, and version control practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
