Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team at TridentCare. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in various healthcare settings, including nursing homes. This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication and interaction skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients in various healthcare settings, including nursing homes.
  • Accurately identify patients and collect, label, process, and deliver specimens obtained from patients.
  • Communicate regularly with dispatchers to report status and location.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Universal Precautions in controlling blood-borne pathogens and infectious disease exposures.
  • Meet required certifications, health requirements, and operational requirements.
Requirements
  • Current, valid State phlebotomy license, if applicable.
  • Current, valid State Driver's license; car insurance; good driving record; possess a vehicle in good working condition suitable to meet daily driving requirements.
  • Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture using both vacutainer and syringe techniques.
  • Knowledge of laboratory operations.
  • Maintains sterile, sanitary conditions to prevent contamination.
