Responsibilities- Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinate the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital.
- Ensure patient safety by implementing and maintaining effective medication management systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on medication use and management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
- Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
- B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
- BLS certification required within 6 months of hire and must be maintained.
