Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator for our 1st shift team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, laying out, positioning, aligning, fitting, and welding parts of structural metal components, including sanitary welding processes.

Responsibilities

  • Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits by following blueprints and layout specifications
  • Operate MIG and TIG welders, plasma cutters, grinders, and hand tools
  • Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications, using squares, levels, and measuring tapes
  • Tack-weld fitted parts together
  • Layout and examine metal stock or work pieces to ensure that specifications are met
  • Align and fit parts according to specifications, using jacks, turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars, and hammers
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to quality control standards

Requirements

  • High School/GED or two to five years' experience in related field or combination of both education and experience
  • Valid Driver License and clean driving record
  • Able to read blueprints and understand layout specifications
  • Able to competently weld stainless and carbon steel using MIG and TIG processes
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to perform a broad range of duties and maintain a positive attitude

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, group life insurance, and 401(k) matching.
