About the Role
As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one care to our patients in their homes. You will work closely with our patients, their families, and our care team to ensure the highest level of care and support.
Responsibilities
- Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Document care provided in our system of record
- Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
- Communicate with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on patient problems, concerns, and changes in condition
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
