Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full Time Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Spring Arbor of Williamsburg. As a 2nd shift team member, you will provide routine care and comfort to our senior residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care.
  • Prepare residents for meals, snacks, and activities.
  • Assist residents in the dining room, including serving meals and clearing tables.
  • Respond to resident emergency call systems.
  • Observe, document, and report any changes in residents' conditions to the Resident Care Director (RCD) or their designee.
  • Communicate with residents and family members in a polite and professional manner.
  • Maintain required resident care documentation per State regulations and Spring Arbor policies and procedures.
  • Transport residents when required.
  • Assist with housekeeping to maintain resident rooms, offices, and common areas, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, attractive, and orderly.
  • Assist with laundry when needed.
  • Assist with answering telephones in accordance with Spring Arbor procedures.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred.
  • CNA certification preferred; Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certificate may be accepted.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications or ability to earn.
