As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a critical role in providing lifesaving treatment to patients undergoing dialysis. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of dialysis equipment, monitor patients' vital signs and blood chemistry, and collaborate with our nursing staff to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate, monitor, and terminate dialysis treatments, ensuring the process proceeds smoothly and notifying the RN of any abnormalities.
  • Prepare machines and equipment for use, ensuring the dialysis machines are working properly during treatment and replacing them when necessary.
  • Maintain documentation related to treatment information, including patient records and inventory management.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment, including turning over dialysis chairs between patients and cleaning and sterilizing equipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
  • Completion of approved dialysis training program or one year experience in nephrology patient care and current active participation in an ESRD facility.
  • Current certification as a Dialysis Technician or ability to obtain in accordance with ESRD regulatory requirements.
  • Current BLS certification.
