Core Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver safe and effective nursing care tailored to the specific needs of patients and their families. Your role will involve:
- Utilizing the nursing process to provide relationship-based care.
- Exhibiting technical proficiency in nursing practices that ensure safety and positive outcomes.
- Engaging in clear communication and teamwork to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Investing in your professional development and contributing to the nursing practice.
- Demonstrating leadership that promotes optimal clinical and operational results.
General Requirements
All staff members are expected to:
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all institutional policies and standards.
- Comply with regulations regarding the protection of patient health information (PHI).
Qualifications
Experience: Preferred 1 year of RN experience.
Education:
- Accredited Diploma in Nursing or
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) Preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Proficiency in the nursing process and practice is essential. Familiarity with various technical equipment used in patient care is required.
Licenses and Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are mandatory. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support may be required based on clinical standards.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting, with the ability to handle weights up to 50 lbs. Other physical demands include pushing, pulling, and various movements essential for patient care.
