Position Summary:
This role is crucial in facilitating communication between patients, their families, and the healthcare team. The representative will address patient concerns and enhance the overall experience by providing a dedicated channel for feedback and resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as a primary contact for patients and families, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
2. Clarify hospital policies and procedures to ensure patients understand their care options.
3. Proactively investigate and resolve issues raised by patients and families, ensuring their voices are heard.
4. Uphold safety standards for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to all organizational policies and budgetary guidelines.
Professional Development:
Encourage continuous learning and growth by fulfilling educational requirements and supporting departmental objectives. Mentor and guide less experienced colleagues to foster a collaborative environment.
Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
