Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inventory and maintenance of banquet supplies, including linens, chairs, china, glassware, and decorations.
- Set up and reset banquet rooms according to specifications, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to company standards.
- Assist servers and provide exceptional customer service to banquet patrons.
- Transport tables, equipment, and supplies as needed, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
- Report maintenance issues to management and ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain all equipment, tools, and supplies, adhering to company procedures and policies.
- Follow grooming and uniform standards established for this role.
- Perform other duties as directed by immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
- Physical mobility and stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain attention to detail.
- Professional attitude and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Houseperson in a catering or banquet environment.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English, with Spanish language skills a plus.
- Punctuality and regular attendance, with flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
