Position Summary

As a Retail Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of products for display in retail environments. This role involves working independently with major retail partners, ensuring that display areas are maintained to a high standard. Your tasks may include assembling items such as bicycles, grills, and furniture, among others.

This position operates on a contractor basis, with compensation based on the number of completed assemblies. Individuals or teams who are energetic and efficient will find the most success, as productivity directly impacts earnings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality assembly and repair of merchandise, following manufacturer guidelines and retailer standards.
  • Coordinate with retailer management to verify assembly lists and inventory levels.
  • Complete and submit daily invoices.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Area Manager.
  • Ensure a safe and tidy workspace, leaving a clean area for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess basic hand tools, an impact drill, and demonstrate mechanical skills.
  • Access to the internet via a smartphone or mobile device is required.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Willingness to travel within a specified radius is essential.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting over 50 pounds.
