Job Summary:
The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit. As a nurse on this unit, you will have the opportunity to care for a wide range of moderately complex patients between two unique units, R3/R4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care for patients with compromised airways requiring intensive respiratory therapy
- Administer controlled infusions of antiarrhythmic or vasoactive IV drug therapy
- Manage patients with acute poisoning, suicide attempts, multisystem failure, neurologic abnormalities, metabolic crisis, multiple trauma, chest pain, myocardial infarction, heart failure, hemodynamic instability, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, post-anesthesia care, mechanical ventilation, cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia analysis, thrombolytic therapy, GI bleeding, internal/external pacing, electrical cardioversion, acute dialysis (peritoneal, hemodialysis) and post-cardiac arrest
Requirements:
- Full-time position with no per diem openings
- Evening and night shifts available with differentials
- Relocation assistance available up to $9,200
Benefits:
- $10K RN Sign-On Bonus for full-time (pro-rated for part-time)
- Differentials - evenings $3.00, nights $4.00 and weekends $3.25
