Job Title: Clinical Therapist

Job Summary:

The Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing direct diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals and their families. The Clinical Therapist participates actively in all relevant team, supervision, and general team meetings to enhance the services of Community Services Group, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct, review, and approve children's psychological evaluations.
  • Provide supervision to master's level evaluators.
  • Work with individuals, families, and groups to address and treat emotional and mental illnesses and to promote wellness.
  • Work closely with other specialists to maximize the level of care.
  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services in accordance with the standards of Community Services Group, Inc. and general standards applicable to mental health professionals.
  • Provide individual and/or group counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, elderly, and families.
  • Adhere to and uphold the ethical standards and guidelines of the profession.
  • Participate in education and other activities necessary to maintain competency in clinical work.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health diagnosis and coding for children/adolescent, adults, elderly, and families.
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent developmental stages.
  • Ability to enhance Community Services Group, Inc.'s psychological services and programs.
  • Ability to collaborate with the family and/or primary caregiver and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Ability to manage individual case records and make recommendations for program changes as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a current license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.
