Transplant Nephrology Specialist

Henry Ford Health System seeks a highly skilled transplant nephrologist to join our esteemed team at one of the nation's most prestigious health care institutions in Detroit, Michigan.
The successful candidate will collaborate with a dedicated team of transplant nephrologists and surgeons at the Henry Ford Transplant Institute (HFTI), one of the largest kidney-pancreas transplant programs in the state of Michigan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff pre- and post-kidney pancreas transplant clinics
- Provide inpatient care and assist with outreach efforts, waitlist management, and living kidney donation
- Participate in selection committee meetings, quality assurance, and protocol development
- Collaborate with colleagues in over 40 medical and surgical specialties
Requirements:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology
- Renal and pancreas transplant training, preferably from an AST-certified transplant nephrology fellowship
- Active State of Michigan license and DEA license
As a member of the 1,900-person Henry Ford Medical Group, you will have opportunities for teaching and research, and will be encouraged to participate in process improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
