Sunmark Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator III to join our team. As a key member of our Technology department, you will be responsible for the daily operations and administration of our Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Server and Active Directory Management: Monitor the availability and health of all servers and server applications, assist with data collection, and communicate daily operating statistics.
  • Security and Vulnerability Remediation: Responsible for vulnerability remediation for servers and endpoints to maintain the security and integrity of member and non-member data. Collaborate with the Information Security team to review security levels and coordinate mitigation schedules.
  • Patch Management and Upgrades: Responsible for patch management for all servers and endpoints. Test and implement upgrades for all endpoints in a timely manner.
  • Service Desk Support: Assist in ensuring that Service Desk tickets, emails, and phone calls related to server applications are responded to promptly. Provide excellent service and document support escalation requests and solutions.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor junior staff and provide guidance and training on server applications to implement best practices.
  • Disaster Recovery and Testing: Support quarterly Disaster Recovery testing of enterprise systems.
  • Core Banking System Support: Collaborate with the IT Core Solutions team to support issue resolution within the Core banking system and associated vendor-specific systems and applications.
  • Audit and Compliance: Assist with various tasks related to scheduled audits and improvements related to audit findings.
  • Branch Automation and Integration: Assist with utilizing and suggesting improvements in documentation of various IT practices. Work with the IT team and management to produce end-user documentation.
Requirements

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or higher with a minimum of 7 years of Information Technology career experience, including the maintenance of Microsoft Windows Operating System, RHEL, VMWare, Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft 365. Ten years or more experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. Microsoft Windows Server, VMWare, or equivalent certification/training is preferred but not required. Expert-level knowledge of automation techniques, including scripting experience and PowerShell experience, is required.
